Spiritual Direction

Spiritual Direction is a process of journeying with another to assist him/her to discern, discover and follow the path that is most life-giving. Experienced directors may be contacted by phone and email. Suggested offering $30/hr  - Weekend Retreats with direction $170.  Find out more about Spiritual Direction at Villa St Joseph, here.

Days of Stillness

A gathering prayer invites you into silence and solitude. The unstructured day offers an opportunity for personal prayer, relaxation and connection with God's creation

Directed Retreats

A time to "Be still and know that I am God." The retreatant participates in a daily rhythm of direction, prayer, reflection and rest in order to discover more deeply the God within.

Sabbath Weekend Retreats

Come away and embrace the gift of silence in the spiritual journey. The prayerful stillness and beauty of nature offer a peaceful and life giving  setting. Friday 7pm to Sunday after lunch. (Spiritual direction available when requested in advance)

Retreat Day

Presentation(s), guided reflection, personal prayer.  All retreats days are 9:30 am to 4pm unless otherwise specified

Personal Retreat Day(s)

A time to spend a day or days in reflection and quiet. The cost includes 3 meals, snacks and overnight.

* Personal Retreat Day(s) followed by a Sabbath Weekend gives an opportunity for a longer retreat

**Retreats are not available during the months of July and August

Financial Considerations

Although the suggested rates for retreats do not meet our expenses, we do not wish lack of financial means to be a deterrent.  Please call and negotiate fees, if needed. As of Jan. 1, 2023 deposit of 50% of cost of retreat is now required to hold your space.

An income tax receipt is available for those who wish to make a donation of $20 or more.

What to Bring

Comfortable shoes, warm casual clothing, personal toilet articles, soap etc. Bedding aand towels are provided.  Please avoid perfumes and shaving lotions
