This afternoon series is inspired by a  book study based on the two works by Frs. John Pungente and Monty Williams, S.J. entitled, “Finding God in the Dark” and an exploration of the spiritual life using contemporary movies. The movies will be viewed through the lens of the spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. The conversation will offer, as the descriptions of the books state, “deeper insight into the films and oneself. Watching these movies the Ignatian way becomes an act of contemplative prayer and self-reflection”. Each afternoon will include prayer, a simple meal, movie watching, and a lively discussion.
