In a time of darkness we seek to awaken the light in our personal lives and in the world today. Advent is a season of waiting in hope, sure in faith of the light of Christ on the horizon, experiencing again the joy of “God with us” – Emmanuel. This retreat day offers us an invitation to enter a space of quiet prayer and reflection in preparation for the Christmas season in which we are called to birth Christ anew in this, our world, in our moment in time.
