"All will be well” is the quote we most know of St. Julian of Norwich. She lived in a time where there were devastating plagues, peasant’s revolt, discord, enmity between classes and a desperate struggle to survive. And yet Julian the Mystic, revered by everyone, would say “all be well”. Julian was an anchorite in the 1300’s in England. An anchoress is a hermit enclosed next to a church. Known a mystic and seer, her window on the street was a place where many came for solace and encouragement in those turbulent times. And so we come today to listen and learn the wisdom of this woman mystic who has words and insight for us today.
