Admission is free and everyone is able to take home seeds, even if you don’t bring any to exchange.
We do hope that many of you have saved seeds of your favorites that you can share with others!
Our speaker this year is from the Kenhteke Seed Sanctuary at Tyendinaga in Prince Edward County. As agricultural people, the Mohawk have had a tradition of seed saving as part of their way of life. Our speaker will talk about the spirituality and worldview that encompasses their seed saving as well as the Seed Sanctuary and Learning Centre that they are setting up.
There will be some vendors selling their seeds and produce
We hope to see you there!
