The great Catholic theologian, Karl Rahner, claimed that the Christian of the Future will be a mystic or nothing at all.” In prayerful presentations and in silent reflection we will meet again some great mystics, including Saints Catherine of Sienna, Ignatius of Loyola, Teresa of Avila, and those closer to our time, Anglican mystic Evelyn Underhill, Thomas Merton and Dorothy Day. We will discover ways in which they help us explore more deeply the question, “What is our future as committed Christians today?”
